Yazmine Graham

Bio

Yazmine Graham was born and
raised in Newark New Jersey; an Arts High
School alumni, current Teaching-Artist for
GlassRoots Inc. and student of the MichaelGraves College School of Public
Architecture at Kean University.

Yazmine's work is peppered with lots of color and takes on many forms of weird, vulnerable, playful and sometimes political. With familiar fashion and music references she challenge herself to pair daydreams and visuals from some of her favorite experiences, people and visual artist along with materials like marker, watercolor and acrylic paint, or glass. Her hope is to provoke adventure where inspiration has faded, begin journeys by acknowledging existing life and the understanding that every moment should start with a tabula rasa.
